Who are you?
I am from Norway, and I moved to Vancouver in 2014 to study international economics at the University of British Columbia. I love shopping, warm weather, and ice cream – all of which are great in Vancouver!
What’s your favourite thing about Vancouver?
First of all, it is absolutely gorgeous. Secondly, you can experience more or less everything in one city. City life, beaches, mountains, parks of all kinds – there really is something to do for everyone.
For a good meal in Vancouver I would go to…
Nook – their pizza is the best and if you can, make sure to go for brunch at their Kits location too! Also, if you love ice cream as much as I do, head to Bella Gelateria in Yaletown.
What is the ONE attraction or activity you would recommend to someone visiting Vancouver?
Biking the seawall! Or walking, jogging or roller blading, whatever floats your boat, but the seawall is a must-do.
What makes a good tour at the Vancouver Lookout?
Knowledge, enthusiasm, and the personal touch.
When you are not working, what do you like to do?
When I’m not working you can find me at the beach, in a park having coffee and talking about life with my friends, or at the movies stuffing my face with popcorn.
